America’s Dust Busters was founded on May 23, 1988, by a young entrepreneur, Manlio Ruiz, or as everyone knows him, Manny. He started by purchasing floor mats and began knocking from door to door, which was how he solicited business. At the time, there was no factory, so he’d hand wash the floor mats in his backyard, hang them to dry, and then the next morning would roll them and continue to provide his services to all his customers. In February of 1992, Manny purchased a property in Miami, FL, which he transformed into America’s Dust Busters and started operations on April 8th, 1993. Before 2001, America’s Dust Busters specialized in only floor mats and dust control services. However, in 1999, Manny purchased Folgado Linen, and then created Star Linen Service. Since then, America’s Dust Busters & Star Linen Service has been serving all of South Florida
